Towers is the second movie in the trilogy of the The Lord of the
Rings, based on the novels by J.R.R. Tolkien. This two-disc set will
be released in both widescreen and full screen editions on
August 26, 2003. Either version carries a suggested retail price

Later on November 18, 2003, a 4-disc Special
Extended DVD Edition and a 4-disc Special
Extended DVD Gift Set will be released. The Gift Set adds a collectible Gollum
polystone statue, bonus DVD programming on the Weta Workshop and how
the Gollum statue was created, and a printed companion piece showing how
the Gollum evolve from pencil sketch to digital character.
