The Extras

The only extra material included is the original theatrical trailer with the short attached feature of Rex Harrison's view about "Doctor Dolittle".

Video & Audio

The image quality of this anamorphic widescreen DVD is fair, considering the film is thirty-three years old.  The colors are vibrant and saturated, paying tribute to the tropical animals and exotic culture costumes.  The Dolby Digital 4.0-channel surround sound is well balanced and effective.  The dialogue is clear and the engaging musical score beautifully enhances the mood of the movie.  Beautiful music!

Recommendation

"Doctor Dolittle" won two 1967 Academy Awards for Best Special Effects and Best Song, in addition to nine nominations, including Best Picture.  This classic sensation is a beautiful, inspiring, musical adventure that you and your family are sure to enjoy again and again.
